daredevil_tigermothIt's said that inside every cautious woman lurks a thrill seeker waiting to get out! Strike a cord? Well let's take a look and see if you're made of such risky stuff.

How about a bungee jump for starters? Over the cliff you go. No problem? Good. Oh! it was a bit scary was it, no? Alright let's try a BASE jump. Know any good bridges, skyscrapers canyons, anything precipitous will do. Nothing like a plummet to get the adrenalin flowing. Oh! that rush. Doesn't make you nervous does it? What's next..how about a sky-dive...that unforgettable feeling as you pause on the plane lip and dare to look down, then free falling, the parachute cord just out of reach.

Scary? Wow! I'm tingling at the thought. How about something colder. What about scaling an ice covered cliff and spending the night in a snow bound cave...with some optional extras, of course! It's so intoxicating, I could go on forever but wait, is there something wrong with me, what's at the bottom of this lust for excitement, this yearning to stretch the boundaries and do the seemingly impossible. Am I mad or just addicted to something beyond my control?

It has been suggested that chemicals in the brain are the culprit, that some of us are made super sensitive to pleasure, excitement and to activities that scare others witless, but having once having experienced such thrills we are captive forever. Maybe it's a good thing not to have discovered that thrill seeker 'other' that lurks within, waiting to get out, until now.

The world is shrinking, your horizens are expanding ...let the adrenalin flow... Everest is only a flight away.
