indoor rock climbingDaredevils grab your harness and put on those shoes, its time to go indoor rock climbing.

What is it?

Indoor rock climbing is scaling a big wall with lumps sticking out of it to resemble rocks.

How hard is it?

Its a great workout and as physically demanding as you want it to be - you don't have to climb all the way up, it depends on how you feel. The fun part though is getting back down.

Why would I want to do that?

Because it’s a challenge, its exercise and by the way did I mention it was lots of fun.

How do I learn?

There are indoor rock climbing centres in all major cities.

What do I need?

You will be supplied with all the gear including shoes. You can also receive instruction from one of the guides. All you need to bring is a comfortable pair of clothes and a bottle of water.

Is it Dangerous?

With insurance premiums skyrocketing, nobody would be crazy enough to offer sports if they think you’re going to hurt yourself and sue them. So to answer your question, no it isn’t dangerous – only if you are afraid of heights!

How do I get involved?

You can contact the centres directly to make a booking or contact us and we’ll get you into a group booking with other midlife women interested in rock climbing.
