With petrol prices taking a hike there is no need for your wallet to follow the same path.  Next time you plan a holiday think about using public transport. Did you know that you can get a bus down to Lorne in Victoria for $30.00 return, roughly a 2 1/2 hour trip each way?  That kind of petrol money wouldn't even get you to the outer suburbs in your car. Think about it, a round trip to a host of destinations for little more than a couple of tickets to the cinema.  Plus you get the added bonus of sitting back and relaxing without having to worry about driver stress, tiredness or your wallet.
