Redheaded Women Lead the Way

Julia Gillard, lawyer, politician, skilled negotiator and slayer of the modern day Caesar. Like many great red-headed female leaders before her including Elizabeth the 1st, Mary Queen of Scotts, Margaret Thatcher and Boadicea, Julia is serious about her leadership.

Julia is the definitive warrior archetype who has conquered the political landscape and makes men quiver. No doubt Julia has always had the strength, ambition, intelligence and humour of the warrior archetype but in midlife these traits have dominated her political career.

It will be interesting to watch how this lady performs, surrounded by the factional bosses of the labour party who dance around her much like the courtiers during Elizabeth the 1st's reign. Unimpressed with marraige and deciding to remain childless these two women have much in common. Elizabeth the 1st ushered in England's golden age, lets hope Julia can do the same for Australia.
