A message for girls wanting to play the (technology) game

What would you do if your eight-year-old niece said she wanted to be a game designer when she grew up?

For Stacey Mulcahey, a software developer at Big Spaceship in New York, it inspired her to write a public email to her niece about her experience in the male-dominated technology industry.

 20 First  (to which I referred in yesterday’s post) is a company that focuses on changing entrenched attitudes towards working women and their efforts — along with Stacey’s public email —  are timely reminders that gender bias is an ongoing problem.
